Welcome to the Redbellows web site!

Vintage & Antique Cameras

Image of Selfix (Unknown manufacturer but probably Huttig)This Home Page provides a link to the pages that provide details of a collection of Vintage & Antique Cameras and related Photographic Ephemera that will, in time, represent the major component of this web site.

As the site is developed, a series of pages will be added and enhanced to describe the various cameras in the collection, supported by other information such as advertisements.

As the collection consists of several hundred cameras, quite a lot of work is involved to fully populate the site. In particular, it will inevitably take some time to add photographs of each of the cameras in the collection.

It is hoped that over time the material will prove of interest and use to other collectors.

The home link to the Camera page will open the home page for the collection that provides more information. From there it is possible to access the collection through one of two indexes: one by maker (manufacturer) and one by camera type.

Clicking on a thumbnail image will generally link through to a page providing details about that item.

Mudlen End Pottery

The site also hosts a series of pages detailing a secondary collecting interest, namely a collection of cottages and other pottery produced by Mudlen End Studio in Suffolk from about 1966 until some time in the 1990s. The pottery was owned and run by James Hart, who died in 2003. The pottery was originally made in Felsham but production later moved to Thurston Granary, Bury St. Edmunds.

The home link to the Mudlen End page will open an index page showing small thumbnail photos of the pottery, divided into specific categories.

Clicking on a thumbnail image will generally link through to a page providing details about that item shown in the index or a group of related items.
