Description

Ensign E29 Portrait box camera, following the standard pattern of other E29 box cameras and in good condition. Unlike the basic (earlier) form it has a pull-out wire sports finder with an integrated supplementary lens providing the option for Portraits or Views selectable using knob beneath the lens. This version is far less common than the standard E29 boxes - perhaps it was not used as a premium camera?

Refer also to the "Ensign E29" camera, which has a very similar format but is of simpler construction.
