Description

The Ensignette No 2 R.R. camera has an aluminium body, with smooth enamel finish. This example is in good condition overall, with minimal damage to front enamelled surface.

The camera came in a slip case, which it is difficult to extract the camera from without scratching the dome surfaces. It also retains the original dark red hinged box with "Ensignette" across the lid in scrolled white writing, although this has suffered a fair bit of wear and tear.

The box also contains the original instructions for using "Ensignette" cameras. The instructions cover both the No 1 and No 2 models, but mention the R.R. (Rapid Rectilinear) variants of both models. A picture within the booklet shows that it was produced for the aluminium version as it clearly shows the raised domes, as shown below. However, there is no date evident in the booklet itself.

Notes

This variant is not one I have come across elsewhere and is certainly less common than the De Luxe models.
